Seven learners from all primary schools in Rutenga Sub-county, Kanungu District, are set to sit for Pre-PLE examinations provided by Councilor Ainembabazi Buroosa, who represents Rutenga Sub-county. He emphasized the importance of these exams in thoroughly preparing students for their upcoming Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) next month.
The distribution of these examinations commenced yesterday, with head teachers from all the schools in the sub-county collecting the exams for their students.
Councilor Ainembabazi highlighted that the exams aim to boost students’ readiness and improve performance, especially for those sitting their final exams, so they can compete nationally. He noted that schools in Rutenga Sub-county have faced performance challenges for years, and he believes that providing these exams could significantly impact students’ results.
He encouraged students to maintain confidence and discipline, even during the holiday break, and praised parents for their continued support and collaboration with school administrations to help their children succeed.
Atuhiire Nicholas, head teacher of Mafuuga Primary School and Zonal Chairperson for Head Teachers in Rutenga Sub-county commended the sub-county administration and Councilor Ainembabazi for their ongoing advocacy and support for improving schools and student outcomes. He expressed gratitude, noting that these exams would help build students’ confidence for the final PLE exams, and pledged that they would strive for improved results in the upcoming exams.
