The Rukungiri district Probation office is stuck with a baby aged between one and a half to 2years who has been under their care for one month and 5 days.
According to the Probation officer Mukuru Alison, the child was dumped at Kyaburere Catholic church in Kibiziro cell, Kazindiro parish, Bugangari Sub County, Rukungiri district on 18th October 2022.
The baby was taken up by an un-identified well-wisher dropped the child at the probation office on Tuesday 22nd November 2022
The child was on Wednesday taken up by another well-wisher Asiimire Unice a resident of Kanyanku village, Kitimba ward, Western Division, Rukungiri Municipality.
Asiimire says that she decided to take up the child temporarily as efforts to trace the biological parents continue
