The incident that led to Jackson’s suspension occurred during a heated confrontation with the Principal Inspector of schools Tushemereirwe. The altercation, which took place in 2023, resulted in Tushemereirwe filing a formal complaint against Jackson, leading to his interdiction pending investigation.

After a thorough investigation and disciplinary proceedings, the decision was made to suspend Jackson for six months. The suspension period aimed at allowing time for both parties to reflect on the incident and for the authorities to assess the appropriate course of action.

He acknowledged the need for reconciliation and cooperation within the education sector, emphasizing the importance of working together to enhance the quality of education in Rukungiri.
