Rukungiri Christians urged to rely on regular prayer, patience and reconciliation to embrace God and overcome life challenges.
The call was delivered on Sunday afternoon by the All Saints Church Vicar Rev. Amos Musinguzi while preaching during the Sunday service at All Saints Church under Rujumbura Archdeaconry, North Kigezi Diocese.
Rev. Musinguzi called on Christians to prioritize regular prayer, be patient and reconcile with each other to embrace God and overcome life’s challenges. He condemned carelessness in Christian fellowships where some born-agains pretend to be in worship fellowships while spreading rumors and speculations about their neighbors.
He called for trust and faith in Christ, saying that the everlasting God will perform miracles forever. Therefore, as a Christian, you must embrace God to experience miracles in your lives and overcome challenges.
Meanwhile, he also called on Christians to spread the love of God across the whole world by ensuring kindness, exemplary lives and humanity that embrace God. Furthermore, he urged them that it is always important for Christians to first ask and consult God before making decisions in life.
He assured them that after practicing this, challenges will be overcome and they will witness family successes and prosperity.
Rev. Amos further challenged Christians, saying that in daily life, a true Christian, whether born again or a sinner, should always ask God to enter heaven and eternal life after death.
Rt. Arch Ven. Elisa Wasswa, the Rukungiri All Saints Archdeacon caretaker, thanked the preacher of the day for delivering an inspiring message that can change the minds of Christians. He also thanked God for making boys and youths turn up in big numbers in the church compared to other days.
