The Parish Priest of Nyakibale Parish, Kabale Diocese, Rev. Fr. Conrad Atuheire, has urged candidates of Immaculate Heart Girls School to remain strong, confident, and prayerful as they prepare to sit for their final Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) examinations.
Fr. Conrad made the remarks on Sunday October 12, 2025, during a dedication mass organized for Senior Four candidates at the school. He reminded the students that their teachers have prepared them well and expressed faith that they will perform excellently.
“These exams are very important because they mark a transition to another level of education. I am confident that all the 521 Senior Four students who registered for UNEB at Immaculate Heart Girls can pass with flying colors if they remain confident and prayerful,” Fr. Cornlad said.
Speaking during the same event, Sister Mary Grace Naturinda, the Deputy Headteacher of the school, said it is part of Immaculate Heart Girls’ culture to hold dedication masses for candidates as a way of strengthening their faith and confidence before exams.
She commended the teachers for preparing the learners adequately through rigorous training and revision, adding that the candidates are ready to excel. She also reminded the students to remain disciplined, prayerful, and focused during the examination period.
The Senior Four UNEB examinations officially begin on Monday morning with the Geography paper.
