Rev. Fr. Conrad Atuhaire, the Parish Priest of Nyakibale Catholic Parish, has urged Christians to refrain from treating the temptations of others lightly, emphasizing that everyone is susceptible to facing trials.
During the morning mass on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Nyakibale Catholic Parish in the Eastern Division of Rukungiri Municipality, Father Conrad Atuhaire underscored the universality of temptations, stating that Jesus Christ and the Saints endured and overcame temptations on their path to righteousness. He emphasized that facing and overcoming temptations is integral to building a robust faith.
Father Atuhaire cautioned against the misconception that some individuals project, presenting themselves as immune to the challenges posed by temptations. He noted that temptations are unavoidable and part of the normal Christian experience.
Kabayo Augustine, a resident of Rwempitsi and a member of Nyakibale Catholic Parish, acknowledged the prevalence of temptations and observed that strong believers navigate through them swiftly, while those with a weaker faith encounter more challenges.
