Rev. Father Achilles Tumukurate, the Parish Priest of Ndama Catholic Church, extended heartfelt congratulations to the Christians of Ndama Parish for celebrating the achievement of their first Seminarian on the path to becoming a priest.

This message was delivered today, Sunday, August 4, 2024, during a thanksgiving mass at Kyamutareiga Catholic Center, Ndama Parish, Kabale Diocese, Nyeibingo Parish, Kebisoni Sub County, Rukungiri District.

In his sermon, Father Achilles expressed profound gratitude, acknowledging the blessing of having Steven Niwandinda, the first Seminarian from Mabanga Catholic Center, Ndama Parish, during his tenure. Steven is set to be ordained on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Kabale Diocese in Kabale Municipality.

Father Achilles also challenged the congregation to recognize that God created them in His image and has blessed them in many ways, including with family and prosperity. He urged them not to forget to give back.

Cosma Muyambi from Rugando Center, Nyakishojwa Catholic Parish in Mitooma District, who was the Chief Guest, inspired the attendees to embrace thanksgiving and give back to God, the ultimate provider of blessings and multiplication.

Burazio Nsimenta, head of Laity at Kyamutareiga Catholic Center and a businessman operating in Kebisoni Town Council, expressed gratitude for the gift of life, family, mental stability, and his parents. He prayed for continued prosperity.

A total of 4,475,900 UGX (Four Million Four Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Nine Hundred Shillings) was raised for purchasing church singing instruments and completing the Catechist premises.
