Authorities in Mbarara City are investigating the tragic death of Docus Komuhangi, a Primary Five pupil at Rwemiiko Primary School, who was found hanging in her bedroom on Wednesday evening.
Komuhangi, who had been living with her in-law, Milton Otafiire, since the age of four after losing her parents, was last seen earlier that day as she prepared for school.
The circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear, leading to concerns over whether foul play or suicide may have been involved. Police have transported the body for a post-mortem as part of their ongoing investigation.
