The Senior Presidential Advisor on Agriculture and Common Man, Madam Peace Rugambwa, has urged the people of Bwambara Subcounty in Rukungiri District to exhibit a high level of loyalty to the NRM ideology, support only party flag bearers, and rely on associations for the supply of development projects under the Boona Bagaigahare Nyekundire Group innovations.
She made the appeal yesterday, 17th November 2025, while addressing residents of Bwambara Subcounty at Platinum Classic Suites Hotel, Buyanja, during an engagement meeting in preparation for the Presidential Campaign trail scheduled for 26th November 2025 in Rukungiri District.
Madam Peace Rugambwa encouraged the people of Bwambara Subcounty to attend the President’s campaign in big numbers, vote solely for NRM flag bearers, and form associations for the supply of development projects. She acknowledged the stock of over 2,700 mattresses, seedlings of coffee, rice, onions, piglets, chicken, among others, soon to be supplied.
Hon. Mary Paula Turyahikayo Kebirungi, the District Woman Member of Parliament candidate, thanked the people of Bwambara for their passionate support and assured them of her commitment to advocate for the installation of an electric fence along Queen Elizabeth National Park, the upgrading of primary schools, and the establishment of vocational institutions and income-generating activities for livelihood transformation.
Kakyene Namanya, the Boona Bagaigahare Nyekundire Group mobilizer, acknowledged a positive mindset change among the people of Bwambara and urged them to support President Museveni and flag bearers, especially Hon. Mary Paula Turyahikayo Kebirungi, and to appreciate ongoing development efforts.
Ben Ryakatonda, Rossette Kobusingye, and Ahabwe Alli, residents of Bwambara, expressed their commitment to NRM flag bearers and appealed to the President to address pending issues, including compensation for properties lost to park rangers, and the construction of schools and health centers, among others.
