Over 100 individuals, including widows, orphans, and other vulnerable people in Marumba, Kanyinya, Southern Division, Rukungiri Municipality, have today received food and non-food items, such as clothing, through Pastor Deus Agaba of Mountain of Life Tabernacle International Ministries, based in Mbarara.
Pastor Deus Agaba told the media that their mission is to promote social justice and enhance the economic and educational well-being of disadvantaged communities.
He explained that the program focuses on widows and children, developing mechanisms aimed at service delivery and capacity building, which positively impacts the lives of the beneficiaries both socially and economically.
Pastor Agaba also shared that their vision is to restore hope to the needy in Uganda by offering assistance and drawing them closer to God.
The organization’s objective is to promote the dignity of all individuals in society by providing financial and material support to vulnerable children, such as orphans and street children, as well as widows, to restore their hope for a dignified life through resource mobilization.
Burungi Deodanta and Twikirize Allen, two of the beneficiaries, expressed their gratitude to Pastor Agaba for his support of vulnerable individuals, including orphans and widows. They called upon other well-wishers to join in supporting these groups, many of whom cannot afford necessities to improve their livelihoods.
