Orikiriza Bridget 6 drowned in a stream that stretches from Ruhinda Sub County to Rwenshama in Bwambara Sub County and her body was washed away until it was recovered yesterday.
Ruhinda Sub County is currently receiving heavy rains that have caused streams to fill up with rapidly flowing water.
The rains have also wreaked havoc on structures including the building at the Ruhinda Sub County headquarters which accommodates the office of the Chairperson that was destroyed by a tree uprooted by heavy rains yesterday.
