Police in Rubanda is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Pius Tumwijukye, a 39-year-old resident of Nyakabungo B” cell Kibuzigye ward Hamuhambo town council Rubanda district who was allegedly murdered last night.
Elly Maate the Kigezi region Police spokesman says the body of the deceased was discovered dumped alongside the road in Kibuzigye trading center this morning by one Kigeita Allen as she was going to the garden.
She thereafter informed the chairperson of the area Kenneth Tuesday, who reported the matter to Bubaare police station.
A team of Police officers from Rubanda visited the scene of crime.
A Canine from Kabale was introduced to the scene and helped to track one suspect who was arrested for questioning
