Nyabiteete Secondary School has recorded remarkable success in the 2025 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) examinations, posting significant improvement compared to the previous year.
Speaking to Boona Radio shortly after the official release of the results, the Headteacher, Sabiti Epafuras, revealed that the school registered a notable overall improvement in performance among the 2025 candidates in both science and arts subjects compared to the 2024 cohort.
Sabiti attributed the impressive performance to the collective hard work and commitment demonstrated by both teachers and students. He emphasized that the school community has now fully embraced and understood the demands of the new curriculum, placing greater focus on practical lessons and case studies — an approach that was not fully implemented in 2024.
Nyabiteete Secondary School, the only government-aided secondary school in Buyanja Sub-county, presented 123 candidates for the 2025 UCE examinations. All 123 students passed with Result One, automatically qualifying them to advance to the next level of education.
Sabiti also commended parents and stakeholders for their continued support towards the school’s academic programs.
The administration has pledged to maintain the upward trend in performance and further strengthen academic excellence in the coming years.
