The community of Bugangari Secondary School in Bugangari Sub-county, Rukungiri District, has today, 12th February 2026, expressed joy and gratitude following the release of the 2025 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) results by the Uganda National Examinations Board.

The school registered 109 candidates, who performed impressively under the new lower secondary curriculum grading system. According to the results released, the candidates attained 100 A grades, 241 B grades, 615 C grades, 105 D grades, and only 3 E grades — a performance that has been described as excellent by the school administration.

Speaking to our reporter, the Headteacher, Mr. Mwesigwa Robert, praised God for the outstanding results. He emphasized that the achievement reflects the school’s strong discipline, teamwork, and commitment to academic excellence.

He noted that the school has a clear vision of transforming Bugangari Secondary School into a nationally recognized institution because of its consistent performance and moral foundation.

The School’s Scripture Union Leader, Ms. Prossy Kemigisha, attributed the success to prayers and spiritual guidance organized by the church. She said regular fellowship and spiritual mentorship have played a key role in promoting wisdom and discipline among learners. She pledged continued Christian guidance to further transform the school into one of the most respected institutions in the region.

One of the parents, Ms. Prossy Nantaba, expressed gratitude to the teachers and school administration for delivering quality education. She appreciated the improved performance of her daughter and called upon fellow parents to continue supporting the current staff to sustain and improve the school’s glory.

Grace Simiraho, one of the outgoing students, commended the teachers for their parental care, guidance, and academic support, which she said greatly contributed to the excellent results. She expressed pride in being associated with the school and pledged to continue excelling as she advances to the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) level.

The celebrations at Bugangari Secondary School mark yet another milestone in the institution’s journey toward academic excellence and community transformation.
