The Archbishop of the Church Of Uganda, His Grace Dr. Steven Kazimba Mugalu yesterday afternoon opened a new church in West Ankole diocese in Mitooma District. Archbishop Kazimba said the major aim of the church is to preach the gospel so that people can live a righteous life that will eventually give them the ability to do other developments which cannot be archived without love and unity among Christians. He made the remarks at the official opening of St. Stevens Nyakatete Church of Uganda in Nyakatete parish Katenga sub-county Mitooma district. The Bishop of West Ankole Diocese Rt. Rev Johnson Twinomujuni hailed Fred Baguma, a Christian who contributed 99% towards the construction of the new church. Speaking at the same function, Rev Elizabeth Kwikiriza the Nyakatete parish priest described the event as a remarkable day of hosting the Archbishop of the Church of Uganda Mitooma District.
