The Member of Parliament for Rujunbura Constituency and Minister for Security, Gen. Jim Katugugu Muhwezi, has called on church leaders and Christians to avoid promoting supremacy and discrimination within their communities. While presiding over a congregation today at God’s Embassy Ministries in Bunuura, Southern Division, Rukungiri District, Gen. Jim Muhwezi cautioned against politicizing every development in the community. He emphasized the idea that people were created in God’s image and should live together as one family, regardless of race, tribe, or political affiliation.

During the ceremony, Gen. Jim Muhwezi expressed his gratitude to the members of God’s Embassy Ministries for presenting him with more than 15 goats as a token of appreciation for providing them with land for the construction of their church. Additionally, he commended the church for its positive contributions to community development.

Bishop Onesmus Ngoboka, representing the Nafpag in the Kigezi region, highlighted that the church had dedicated this special day to Gen. Jim Muhwezi as a gesture of appreciation for his consistent support in various aspects. Ngoboka stressed the importance of recognizing and showing gratitude to those who contribute positively to one’s life.

In anticipation of the approaching new year, Bishop Ngoboka urged people to be mindful and plan profitably for the year 2024, emphasizing the significance of taking care and appreciating the positive aspects of life as they move forward.
