Police in Rukiga District are investigating the suspected murder of a 42-year-old man whose body was discovered along the Nyakarambi–Nyakagyera road on Wednesday morning.
The deceased, identified as Tamukunzi Gerivazio, a resident of Nyakagyera Cell, Kafunjo Parish, Kashambya Sub-county, was reportedly last seen at a bar on the night of October 14, 2025, before being found dead the following morning.
According to ASP Elly Maate, the Kigezi Regional Police Spokesperson, police were alerted by Denis Muyambi, the area chairperson. Officers visited and documented the scene, and the body was later taken to Kabale Regional Referral Hospital for a postmortem examination to determine the cause of death.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the death are ongoing.
