Police in Bushenyi District are investigating under which a 60-year-old man died under unclear circumstances.
Ibrahim Katumba, 60 years working with presidential Initiatives on Banana Industrial Development (PIBID) in Nyaruzinga in Bushenyi District, was found dead in his rented room.
Marcal Tumusiime the greater Bushenyi police spokesperson confirmed the incident saying the deceased is a resident of Gangu in Wakiso District.
He said the deceased could have died of suffocation because of the charcoal stove.
According to George Kulaaba the Director of Operations, Research and Development at PIBID the deceased was one of the best employees the factory has ever employed.
He said the deceased has no record of colonial sickness.
