Members of the Lions Club of Rukungiri District 411B on Wednesday donated an assortment of foodstuff and scholastic materials to children living in Bucence orphanage home.
Bucence orphanage home is located around Bucence Church of Uganda in Bucence cell, Kigaaga Parish, Nyakagyeme Sub County, Rukungiri District operating and it’s under North Kigezi Diocese. It currently cares for 27 children received from the Probation office and the Police after finding them abandoned and others are from pure needy families who survive by the mercy of good samaritans.

Speaknig to reporters, Tukwasibwe Eunice, the center manager said that the facility has a capacity of 40 children but they only have 27. She rallied members of Lions Club to provide more assistance if possible and advocate for donors.

Betty Namara of Sena Supermarket and a Lion who coordinated the aid challenged the beneficiaries to have discipline and live humbly before God if they to get more supporter.
The President Lions Club of Rukungiri Conerious Byarugaba revealed that they mobilized support to comfort the beneficiaries after realzing that they are in a dare need.
