The Deputy Resident District Commissioner of Kisoro, Robert Tukamuhebwa, has urged the residents of Nyakinama Sub County to remain vigilant in light of the increasing incidents of criminal activity.
While acknowledging the efforts of security forces in cracking down on assailants who employ blunt objects to harm, kill, and rob individuals, Tukamuhebwa emphasized the importance of residents taking proactive measures. He advised them to avoid nighttime movements and to be cautious about exposing their valuables.
Highlighting instances where victims have been targeted while speaking on their phones by the roadside or while using Boda-bodas, Tukamuhebwa issued a warning.
He stated that his office, in collaboration with the police and local leaders, will undertake the profiling of all youths engaged in criminal activities with the intention of apprehending them.
