Kinkiizi High School Nyakatare, a Church-founded and government-aided institution located in Kanungu Town Council, has emerged as the best-performing school in Kanungu District following the release of the 2025 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) results earlier today by the Minister of Education, Hon. Janet Kataha Museveni.

According to the school administration, the institution registered an impressive academic performance, with all candidates who sat for the examinations attaining results that qualify them to join higher institutions of learning.

The headteacher, Rev. Emmanuel Mutabazi, commended the students for their dedication and hard work that has lifted the school’s academic profile in the district. He also noted that the 2025 candidates performed better than those of 2024, attributing the achievement to the collective efforts of students, teachers, parents, and well-wishers of the school.

A total of 170 students sat for the examinations, and all of them passed with scores that make them eligible for further studies. Out of these, 120 candidates obtained 10 points and above.

The school also produced top performers, with one student scoring 20 points while three others obtained 19 points, all in science combinations. The administration says the results reaffirm the school’s growing reputation as a strong center for science education in the district.

School leaders say the continued improvement in academic performance reflects the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and the provision of quality education to learners.
