Kigezi Homeboyz football club based in Kabale District in South Western Uganda has been promoted to FUFA Big League after defeating Buhimba United Saints Football Club from Kikuube District with a margin of Two goals.

Kigezi Homeboyz defeated Buhimba United Saints Football Club by 2 goals to 1 in the exhilarating FUFA Big League playoffs Second leg match held at Kigaya Church of Uganda Play Ground in Kikuube District.

In the first leg played at Kigezi HomeBoyz football club defeated Buhimba United Saints football club from Kikuube District by a narrow margin of 1-0 at Kabale Municipal Playground.

The goals of Kigezi Homeboyz football club were scored by Kaija Sunny in the 29th Minute and Waibi Charles in the 42nd Minute of the first half.

In the 86th Minute of the second half, Buhimba United Saints Football Club scored a goal through one Sharifu.

Overall, Kigezi Homeboyz defeated Buhimba United Saints Football Club with an aggregate of 3-1 goals. The match concluded with the center referee’s final whistle.
