The pastors of Kebisoni Sub County and Town Council have been excited to launch initiatives that bring together people from different denominations while spreading the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Yesterday, on Thursday, March 14, 2024, Bishop Katura James, the overseer of the National Fellowship for Pentecostal Churches in the Kamuri Busiga region, addressed the closing session of a three-day workshop at the King of Kings Church in Kebisoni Town Council, Rukungiri District. The workshop was organized by Every Home for Christ Ministries.

Every Home for Christ Ministries is an organization dedicated to mobile evangelism across the country, providing training and donating preaching equipment.

During the three-day workshop, pastors and members of the general public were trained in Bible knowledge and preaching. The workshop concluded yesterday with a community cleanup, street preaching in the streets of Kebisoni Town Council, followed by an evening football match between pastors from the greater Kebisoni area and Boda Boda riders, which ended in a 2-2 draw. Later, there was a documentary screening about the life of Jesus Christ in Kebisoni Town Council playground.

Bishop Katura James emphasized the importance of unity with the general public under one cause and appreciated the collective effort in serving Jesus Christ. He encouraged pastors to invest in public activities.

Pastor Nimusiima Posiano, the host pastor, expressed gratitude, stating that over 5000 people were impacted through door-to-door and street preaching.

Mwesigwa Onesmus Salongo, the Chairperson of the Greater Kebisoni Boda Boda Riders Association, confirmed their enthusiastic participation, citing the benefits of exercise for good health. He mentioned receiving gifts and positive public relations.

Muhwezi Evart, representing the guest of honor, Nuwagaba Annah Tumuramye, delivered refreshments and footballs. He also highlighted Nuwagaba Annah Tumuramye’s support for sports as a means of promoting unity and good health.
