KANUNGU:Police in Kanungu have two suspects in custody for the alleged murder of a 19 years old man.
The suspects are Richard Muhwezi 35 years and Martin Kanyesizye 36 years both residents of Bugongo cell Nyakatunguru ward Kihihi town council Kanungu district, who allegedly stabbed to death with a knife one Stuart Agaba a mansion, and a resident of Nkumbagara cell Nyakatunguru ward on Sunday at around 11 pm.
According to ASP Elly Mate the Kigezi police spokesperson, it’s alledged that while the deceased was moving with Brian Ainebyona, was attacked by Richard Muhwezi for unknown reasons, who stabbed him with a knife on the left upper rib, penetrating the heart.
He was rushed to Kigezi Clinic Kihihi where he died instantly.
Police was notified by Christopher Baryarugayo, the scene was visited and processed, and the body was taken to Kihihi health center mortuary for postmortem.
And the two suspects were accordingly arrested to help police in investigations.
