Police in Kanungu district is currently investigating circumstances surrounding the death of Tumuramye Florence aka mama Kirabo, 42 business woman and resident of market cell Kihihi town council Kanungu district.
The Kigezi Regional Police Spokesperson Elly Maate says that the deceased was last seen yesterday evening operating her restaurant in Kihihi Central market and
Maate said that today morning at about 0730hours,she was discovered dead in her room by one Joseph Tukwasibwe ,a meat roaster in the same area.
ASP Elly Maate narrated that the deceased body was lying in the house with her 10yr old daughter calling out her name but in vain.
Police was alerted, scene was visited and examined, statements taken, body taken to Kihihi health centre IV for postmortem and handed over to relatives for burial.
The case of sudden death and was registered at Kihihi Central Police station under reference number CRB;162/2022
