Moses Tumwijukye Bwengye, the Education Officer for Kabale District, has set a clear directive for all primary schools within the area: ensure active involvement in Kids’ Athletic competitions. Tumwijukye emphasizes that such participation is crucial for the district to excel at the national level, particularly at the upcoming event in Kitgum District from May 12th to 22nd this year.

Commencing on April 19th across various zones, the competitions have progressed to sub-counties and are scheduled to advance to the constituency level on Wednesday. Ndorwa West Kids will convene at Kamuganguzi Primary School, while Ndorwa East will gather at Kyanamira Primary School. The culmination of these events for Kabale District is slated for May 2nd at Kabale Municipal Stadium. The top-performing athletes will earn the opportunity to represent the district nationally.

Tumwijukye underscores the importance of comprehensive participation from all schools to showcase Kabale’s athletic prowess. He urges schools to provide thorough training and necessary support to their students, highlighting the significance of teamwork and determination in achieving success.
