The Member of Parliament Kashari North Mbarara district Hon Basil Bataringaya Rwankwene has donated seventy iron sheets to Nyaminyobwa Primary School which is in a very sorry state.

Nyaminyobwa primary school is found in  Bwengure parish Kagongi Sub County where the iron sheets that cost Hon Basil Bataringaya over shillings 2 million will be used to roof a two-classroom block to provide a conducive teaching-learning environment.

While handing over the iron sheets to the school management committee members and PTA, Bataringaya urged the school community and the parents that as they continue to build their school, parents should be more responsible in providing basic needs to their children such as scholastic materials, packed lunch, school uniform for easy identification and building confidence in the learners to promote quality education.

The chairperson Kagongi sub-county Kashari North Mbarara district Mr. Twine Evaristo appreciated the Member of Parliament Kashari North Hon Bataringaya Basil for supplementing the efforts of the parents and the government with the donation.

The headmaster of Nyaminyobwa primary school Mr. Akankwasa Disan on behalf of the staff members thanked MP Basil Bataringaya for supporting the school in infrastructure development which should encourage the parents to invest in more efforts.
