High Court in Rukungiri presided over by the resident Judge Justice Tom Chemutai on Tuesday set 6th July 2023 as the judgment day for the murder case against Owoyesigire Bernard.
Owoyesigire Bernard known as Master is a businessman operating in Rukungiri Municipality who is accused of killing his wife but was released on bail.
The prosecution alleges that on 29th September 2021, Owoyesigire Bernard and his wife Kyasimire Hope 45 years old as they traveled to Kambuga in Kanungu District where Owoyesigire Bernard had a mission to kill his wife in Omunengo where he claims they got an accident though it’s alleged that it was planned.
The couple is from Nyamunuka cell, Kyaruhungwa Parish, Bwongyera Sub-county, Ntungamo District by birth and marriage.
During a court sitting on Tuesday, Justice Tom Chemutai concluded the hearing and preferred 6th July 2023 to deliver his ruling.
