The Inspector of Schools for Ntungamo district’s Rushenyi county, Mr. Robert Tuzareirerwe, urged girls to persevere and champion their education amidst contemporary challenges, emphasizing the enduring significance of girl child education.

Addressing attendees at a thanksgiving ceremony honoring outstanding performance in UACE and UCE at Ntungamo Girls High School in Rwentobo, Ntungamo district, Tuzareirwe highlighted the persistent devaluation of girl child education in certain communities. He underscored the responsibility of girls to defy such perceptions through their academic achievements and subsequent contributions to their families.

Director of the school, Justus Gumisiriza Keishari, emphasized the paramount importance of discipline in education, particularly for girls, noting that even with academic success and qualifications, a lack of discipline could hinder individuals from leading fulfilling lives.

Ntungamo Girls High School emerged as the top-ranking institution in Ntungamo district, boasting an impressive average of 14 points per student. Notable achievements included three students scoring 20 points, seven achieving 19 points, and three attaining 18 points, among others. Outstanding performers were rewarded with gifts from the school.
