Local leaders in Kebisoni Town Council, Rukungiri District, have raised concerns regarding irregularities associated with the scrap business.

Alex Mugabe Nathan, the Chairperson of LC3 Kebisoni Town Council, highlighted increased incidents of robbery linked to the scrap business, often involving underage children, negligent parents, and thieves.
He urged all local leaders in the district to address the issue and implement measures to combat the challenge.
Edgar Muhinda, a mobile scrap dealer, denied any irregularities, stating that they do not involve children in their operations and conduct business openly with loudspeakers.
