OBADIAH T
Christians have been encouraged to strive for eternal life through prayer, forgiveness, reconciliation, and avoiding sin while still on earth.
The call was made by Rev. Fr. Elias Kasigeire, parish priest of Nyarushanje Parish in Nyakibale Deanery, Kabale Diocese, during the send-off of the late Julius Kubareka Ziriheihi, a renowned accountant from Kasharara Cell, Ibanda Parish, Nyarushanje Sub County, Rukungiri District.
Fr. Kasigeire described the deceased as a compassionate and loving man who generously shared with others and remained steadfast in his faith.
Speaking on behalf of the family, Joseph Mukama, Director of Hill Top Nursery and Primary School Rwentare and the deceased’s brother, hailed Julius as a Christian who never missed church activities and a pillar of the family. He noted that Julius had invested in projects that earned him dignity and a decent living without dependency, urging mourners to emulate his legacy.
Representing the government, Nyarushanje Sub County Chairman, Michael Musiime, expressed sorrow over the loss of such a productive citizen.
Born on 22nd February 1967, the late Julius succumbed to dehydration at Kisizi Hospital.
