Christians have been called upon to live Christ-like lives and represent Him faithfully in their daily conduct.
Speaking during the special Agape Cell Ministry Day celebration at Ndejje University Chapel Hall, Amos Ssengendo, an alumnus of the university, emphasized that being a true witness of Christ means reflecting His character in all aspects of life. He said people should be able to see Christ through the way Christians live, uphold their integrity, and intentionally lead others to Him.
Ssengendo urged believers not to be swayed by worldly pleasures and desires but to remain steadfast in their faith, trusting God through trials and temptations.
The University Dean of Students and Patron of the Agape Cell, Rev. Canon Latimer Muwanguzi Ssendi, advised students to make good use of their time at university, noting that the choices they make during this period shape their future.
He encouraged them to develop a personal relationship with Christ early in life, to love one another as Christ loved humanity, and to avoid hatred and revenge. Rev. Canon Ssendi further called on students to forgive others and live in a godly manner that reflects true Christian values.
