The archbishop church of Uganda Rt. Rev Stephen Samuel Kazimba Mugalu has called for unity among Christians in the west Ankole Diocese.

Kazimba who was in the area for his pastoral visit said this while preaching at St Peter’s Cathedral Bweranyangi Bushenyi district on Sunday.

He said unity among children of God will foster the development of the church.

Kazimba urged Ugandans to embrace the spirit of togetherness, refrain from conflicts, live in unity, and work together as a team of God’s servants.

The Bishop of West Ankole Diocese, the Rt. Rev. Johnson Twinomujuni said that love is a commandment from God and should be taken seriously as it is the only way through which humanity can get transformed.

He said that many Ugandans have failed to live as brothers and sisters which is crippling the development.

Archbishop Kaziimba Mugalu was in West Ankole Diocese on a four-day pastoral visit where he toured several projects in the diocese all aiming at eradicating poverty.
