Buyanja Savings and Credit Cooperative Society Ltd (BUSACCO) has officially launched an outreach center in Rwashamaire Town Council, Ntungamo District, to expand its services and bring financial solutions closer to the community.

The new center was inaugurated on Friday, November 22, 2024, during a ceremony officiated by the SACCO board.

Speaking at the event, Mrs. Oliver Nayebaare, the General Manager of Buyanja SACCO, described the opening of the outreach office as a milestone in their mission to deliver exceptional financial services to members. She highlighted the need for the new facility, noting that members in Ntungamo and neighboring areas had previously faced difficulties traveling to Rukungiri to access services.

“This outreach will ensure that members can access services conveniently and promptly,” Mrs. Nayebaare said. She further encouraged the public, particularly those facing financial challenges or looking to grow their businesses and projects, to join Buyanja SACCO for reliable support.

During the event, a lucky client, who opened an account with the SACCO and deposited UGX 1.5 million, walked away with a brand-new Bajaj Boxer motorcycle as part of a promotional initiative.

The Board Chairperson, Canon Twirire Yosia, thanked attendees for showing their support and reaffirmed the SACCO’s commitment to providing reliable services and financial advice to members.

“Our mission is to foster economic transformation by promoting a culture of saving, investment, and financial development,” Canon Yosia said. He emphasized that the new outreach aligns with Buyanja SACCO’s expansion strategy to better serve communities in the western region.

Canon Yosia encouraged both members and non-members to embrace the SACCO’s services, highlighting the added value of financial education offered alongside loan services.

A delighted member, Mugabe Fuderina, a resident of Kyafoora, commended the SACCO staff for their efficiency. Mugabe shared his excitement after opening an account and receiving a brand-new motorcycle on the same day.

Buyanja SACCO’s new outreach office is expected to improve service delivery and extend financial inclusion to more people in Ntungamo and surrounding areas.
