Staff members of Buyanja SACCO, led by their General Manager Mrs. Olive Nayebare, on Wednesday morning conducted a thorough cleaning of Buyanja Town as part of their corporate social responsibility activities. The initiative began on Kyamakanda Road and extended through the streets of Buyanja Town, aiming to give back to their members and the entire community.

In an interview with our reporter, Mrs. Nayebare highlighted that this annual communal cleaning is a key component of their corporate social responsibilities, intended to conserve the environment and prepare for their upcoming football match with Boona FM staff. This event is part of the celebrations for Boona FM’s 7th anniversary, known as Ekigutuuro Rweimutsya Bakwe. She also commended Boona FM for its significant contributions to the community and the excellent services it provides, which have greatly benefited the business community.

Mrs. Nayebare encouraged the general public to join Buyanja SACCO through their branches in Buyanja Town Council, Rukungiri Town, and Karunoni Branch, as well as their various outreaches, to take advantage of their services. She also invited the public to support Boona FM on May 13, 2024, during the Ekigutuuro celebrations.

Magezi Fred, a businessman in Buyanja Town Council, praised the Buyanja SACCO staff for their efforts in cleaning the town, noting that it was in dire need of attention. He also expressed gratitude for the efficient service delivery of Buyanja SACCO, including quick loan processing, secure money handling, and annual accountability to its members.
