The drama surrounding Bushenyi Ishaka municipal council has taken a new and interesting twist after Deputy mayor Joel Nkole resigned.
In a letter dated 20/3/203 seen by reporters, Nkole outlined a number of issues ranging from intrigue, conflicts of interest, and Deviation by some councilors among others.
Nkole the councilor representing Mazinga ward, Nyakabirizi division in Bushenyi Ishaka municipality was appointed by mayor Richard Byaruhanga in 2021.
It should be noted that before the resignation councilors from Bushenyi Ishaka municipality had moved a motion to censure him accusing him of failing to respect council resolutions and disrespect among others.
