Rukungiri Modern Primary School in Rukungiri Municipality has received a bull from M3K3 Mobile Traders as a reward for having the highest number of pupils attending the recent trade show at Rukungiri Main Stadium.

Prior to the event, M3K3 Mobile Traders had announced that the school with the highest attendance would receive a bull from the organizing company. Rukungiri Modern Primary School emerged as the winner.

During the handover ceremony, Noah Murumba, one of the directors of M3K3 Mobile Traders, apologized to the public for not delivering everything promised at the show. He specifically mentioned the absence of wildlife exhibits, a first in their trade shows, attributing this to several issues.

Murumba explained that while transporting wildlife from Entebbe to Rukungiri, a lion escaped from its cage, causing a halt in bringing the animals. He expressed regret that the absence of the wildlife exhibit disappointed many, especially school authorities who had brought their students expecting to see the animals.

Murumba noted that the absence of the wildlife exhibit not only raised questions within the Rukungiri community but also negatively impacted their business, as they had planned to charge 3000 shillings per person for zoo visits. He assured the public that they would fulfill all promises in next year’s trade show.

Geoffrey Mwesigwa, the headteacher of Rukungiri Modern Primary School, praised M3K3 Mobile Traders for keeping their promise of awarding a bull to the school with the highest attendance. He also commended M3K3 for organizing trade shows, highlighting that such events provide valuable learning experiences for students, including lessons in trading.

It was so bad to go into trade show expecting a zoo and was not there when advertisement continued on our mighty radio station, what a bad trade show to us head teachers! How many pupils from that school entered?
