Boona FM’s team emerged victorious in a friendly match against Kajaara People’s Sacco with a score of 3-2 in favor of Boona FM. The match took place at Rwashamiire Playground in Ntungamo District and was part of Kajaara People’s Sacco’s end-of-year ceremony, where they awarded gifts to their best customers. Both teams received gifts in the form of money.
General Jim Willis Byarugaba expressed gratitude to the people for their significant turnout and mentioned their pleasure at Boona FM accepting their invitation. He highlighted that the event was a way of giving back to their customers, expressing hope that this recognition would encourage and motivate their clients. The event marked the closure of the year and the acknowledgment of the best-performing clients.
Akamukwasa Usufu, the General Manager of Kajaara Sacco, extended his thanks to board members and staff for the sacco’s achievements. Usufu emphasized the importance of saving for the future and encouraged people to cultivate a habit of saving.
Kigongo Asuman, the Vice Chairperson of Ntungamo, who was the guest of honor, highlighted the significance of hosting events like these as they promote sports in the area. He urged people to open accounts with Kajaara Sacco and emphasized the benefits of saving for the future.
As part of the festivities, the best customers were awarded gifts such as goats, hens, T-shirts, and various other items.
