In a lively celebration on Saturday, Bishop Mazzoldi Day and Boarding Primary School commemorated a series of major achievements, drawing together the school community and key stakeholders.
A dedication mass marked the event for Primary 7 pupils, the official opening and blessing of newly equipped computer and science labs, the blessing of a new school bus, and a special showcase of the school’s award-winning Music, Dance, and Drama (MDD) team. The MDD team recently achieved national acclaim, winning top honors in competitions held in Mbale City from August 25th to September 3rd, adding extra joy to the day’s celebrations.
The dedication mass, led by Fr. Abel Beinomugisha, the school director, included prayers for the 39 Primary 7 pupils who are set to take their Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) this Wednesday and Thursday. The celebration also served as a thanksgiving for the school’s consistently high performance in PLE over recent years, a testament to its commitment to academic excellence.
Expressing her gratitude, headteacher Emily Twekwase thanked God for the school’s achievements, attributing them to the strong partnership among parents, teachers, students, and the management team. She pledged to continue fostering collaboration to keep Bishop Mazzoldi at the forefront of quality education.
Tiwangye Kakuze Rose, representing the School Management Committee, encouraged parents to consider Bishop Mazzoldi for their children’s education, praising the school’s dedication to delivering high-quality education. She reassured parents of the management’s commitment to building strong, supportive relationships and creating a welcoming environment for all students.
The celebration highlighted a spirit of pride and gratitude, reaffirming Bishop Mazzoldi’s dedication to excellence in academics and holistic development.
