The Bishop of Kinkiizi Diocese, Rt. Rev. Dan Zoreka, has encouraged Christians to overcome fear and place their hope and trust in Jesus Christ.
Preaching during a service, Bishop Zoreka noted that the world is often filled with fear, especially the fear of death, and reminded believers that Christ conquered death on the cross. He urged Christians to remain steadfast in their faith, warning against being misled by false teachings that claim greater power, emphasizing that eternal life is promised to those who hold firmly to the Christian faith.
During the same service, Kanungu Assistant Resident District Commissioner (RDC), Magezi Emmy Ryarugaba, cautioned Christians against excessive spending during the Easter season. He encouraged parents to prioritize educating their children, stating that education remains a key solution to overcoming poverty.
Kanungu RDC Mwesigye Ambrose also emphasized the importance of unity and love among Christians, noting that while the government continues to provide peace and security, it is the responsibility of believers to foster harmony within their communities.
