Speaking on Sunday at the induction ceremony of the Venerable Edward Mwesigwa at St. Paul’s Kacerere Archdeaconry in Kacerere Town Council, Rubanda District, Bishop Akanjuna emphasized the importance of divine direction. He noted that while individuals may struggle to accomplish tasks on their own, with the Holy Spirit’s guidance, they can achieve great things. He reminded the congregation that walking in faith and following the teachings of Jesus Christ can be challenging, but through reliance on God’s power, they can overcome difficulties.

Bishop Akanjuna reiterated that serving God is not easy, but through the Holy Spirit, Christians can accomplish more than they imagine. He stressed the necessity of seeking God’s guidance in all endeavors, affirming that true success comes from His strength. He encouraged believers to remain steadfast in their discipleship, assuring them that with Christ by their side, they can overcome any obstacle and fulfill God’s purpose in their lives.

During the same service, Ven. Joshua Owoyesiga, the Archdeacon of Kihanga Archdeaconry, urged Christians to place their faith and trust in Jesus Christ, emphasizing that God’s power is sufficient to guide them through any challenge.

In his sermon, Ven. Owoyesiga reminded the congregation that overcoming life’s difficulties requires trust in the Lord and belief in His promises. She expressed her commitment to working closely with church leadership to promote its development.
