The Bishop of the Diocese of Kigezi, Rt. Rev. Gaddie Akanjuna, underscored the significance of incorporating Christian values into the lives of students to foster both academic and personal achievements.
Speaking at the dedication service for P7, S4, and S6 students at Kamuganguzi Primary School and Janan Luwum Memorial School, which took place at St. John’s Kamuganguzi COU Archdeaconry in Kamuganguzi Sub County, Kabale District, Bishop Akanjuna encouraged students to embrace Christian virtues as a fundamental basis for their future success.
He stressed the importance of setting strategic goals and highlighted that dedication, motivation, and focus are crucial for attaining success in life.
During the same service, Rev. Oscar Mwesigwa, the Diocesan Education Coordinator, delivered a sermon advising students to use their time wisely, concentrating on activities that will contribute to their success in upcoming exams.
Rev. Mwesigwa suggested that students seek guidance from their teachers and establish closer relationships with them, while also cautioning against distractions that could divert them from their academic path.
