Mr. Naboth Nandeeba Kateeba, the Chairperson of the Management Committee at Better Home Academy in Kitagata Town Council, Sheema District, has challenged parents to prioritize education as a cornerstone for their children’s future success.

He delivered this message today, Friday, 24th January 2025, while presiding over the 2024 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) celebrations and awarding prizes to the best performers at the school premises.

Mr. Kateeba emphasized that education is a permanent investment parents must make for their children. He urged parents to prioritize education, dedicate time to monitoring their children, and collaborate with teachers to achieve better outcomes.

Alex Nashaba, the Chairperson of the Board of Directors, attributed the school’s success to proper staffing, dedicated guidance and counseling sessions for children, and staff refresher courses designed to keep up with educational dynamics. He assured parents of the board’s commitment to transforming the school into a renowned institution.

Kigenyi Karimu, the school head teacher, credited the school’s achievements to a team of dedicated and skilled staff, strict supervision, and frequent administration of various examination tests. He assured stakeholders of continuous performance improvement.

Sylvia Nsimenta, a parent, praised the high standards exhibited by Better Home Academy, reflected in the children’s discipline, proficiency in English, and quality results.

Albright Aijuka, one of the school leavers, expressed gratitude to the teachers for their thorough guidance. He attributed his success to extensive examination tests and consistent revision.

Better Home Academy presented eight candidates for the 2024 PLE. Four candidates achieved first-grade scores, while the remaining four attained second grades, marking another milestone of success for the school.
