Believers were urged to embrace courage, extend help to others, and foster well-being while maintaining peaceful relations with one another.
These teachings were delivered by Reverend Father Deus Dedeti Twesigyeomwe Bukenya Ekikonda Njojo, the pastoral coordinator of Mbarara Archdiocese. During a sermon at the send-off ceremony for Mrs. Komuhangi Regina, who was the mother of Mr. Ahabwe Bernard Mukasa, a councilor in Ruhama sub-county, Ntungamo district, Father Ekikonda emphasized the importance of prayer, forgiveness, and living a harmonious life.
Mrs. Komuhangi Regina passed away on January 29, 2024, at the age of 63. Born on January 13, 1961, she left behind five children and five grandchildren. Mr. Nahabwe Bernard Mukasa, deeply affected by the loss of his mother, expressed his gratitude for her being a caring, loving parent who valued cooperation.
He described Mrs. Komuhangi Regina as a hardworking woman.
During the send-off, Mr. Mukasa Joseph, the husband of the deceased, expressed his appreciation for his wife’s cooperation, care, and the respect she had shown him. He acknowledged her as a responsible woman.
