A 67-year-old-woman is stranded with four orphaned children in Bumba village, Kyasano parish in Kamuganguzi sub county, Ndorwa west County in Kabale district.
The chilren are; Namara innocent aged 9 years, Akandwanaho blessed 7 years, Akampurira Joel 4 years and Mushabire Holliness 1 year-old, all residents of kitojo cell, kinwogo ward in Katuna Town council in Kabale district.
According to Ntegyerize Jolly, the caretaker, following the death of their parents, Byaruhanga Gilbert, their father who died in a fatal accident along Kabale- Katuna road in March this year and mother one Kyarukunda Happiness who was also buried on Monday this week the four lacked parental love, care, basic needs and felt neglected which triggered her to take responsibility of looking after them.
Now, Ntegyerize is seeking support from well-wishers towards raising school fees and wellbeing of the children to grow and become responsible citizens in the future.
