Police in Rukungiri district are investigating circumstances under which a 40-year-old man died under unclear circumstances.
According to the area chairperson LC1 Kagarama B, Northern Ward, Eastern division Rukungiri municipality Mr. Kashumbusha Laurence Tycoon, the deceased is Binobwengye Manuel a mason and resident of Kagarama A, Northern ward A, in Rukungiri municipality who was yesterday found lying dead along Kagogo road.
Kashumbusha told our reporter that he received a phone call at around 8:00am from the division “GISO” who informed him about the incident.
He then informed the police that responded immediately.
Kashumbusha revealed that Binobwengye Manuel now the deceased used to take booze until late into the night, and its suspected that that he might have died after taking alcohol.
Police proceeded to the scene, did postmortem, recorded statements and handed over the body to relatives for burial.
