Preparations for the upcoming Tarehe Sita celebration on February 6, 2024, in Kanungu District, Western Uganda, are progressing well.
The focus of this year’s festivities will be on enhancing the general ward at Kihiihi Health Center 4, conducting a medical camp organized by the 307 Brigade 2nd Division Mburameizi Doctors and health workers, and addressing security issues within health centers.
Dr. Nsiyaleeta Paul, the In-charge of Kihiihi Health Center 4, has encouraged health workers and the general public to actively support the celebrations for their success and overall benefit.
Under the theme “Celebrating people’s struggle for Unity, Security, and Peace for Socioeconomic Transformation,” Tarehe Sita this year holds significance.
Gad Rugaju, the Deputy Resident District Commissioner for Kanungu, sees this as a fantastic opportunity for the district and urges the community to embrace and support this initiative.
