Residents of Rwakabengo ward, Southern Division, Rukungiri Municipality want the authorities to establish proper management or shift Rwakabengo Health Center 3 mortuary that is emitting an unbearable stench which they complain has become a burden to their lives .
Rwakabengo mortuary handles postmortem services for both the Municipality and district at large and receives unclaimed bodies from all corners of the district .
According to health workers at the facility who spoke on condition of anonymity, the mortuary received 2 bodies which have stayed unclaimed hence emitting a stench that has engulfed the area
