Residents in Nyakabubungo town Council in Kanungu district have expressed their congratulations to Dr. Chris Baryomunsi the Kinkizi East MP following his re-appointment as Minister of ICT and National Guidance.
The accolades were showered upon him during a gathering organized by the ‘I support Hon. Dr. Chris Baryomunsi Nyakabungo Town Council group’, a community initiative aimed at rallying support for Dr. Baryomunsi and the NRM party.
Led by Tirwakunda Davis, the group commended Baryomunsi for his dedication and hard work both in parliament and in the cabinet. They credited his efforts for catching the attention of the appointing authority during the recent cabinet reshuffle.
In his address, Dr. Baryomunsi expressed gratitude to those who congratulated him and urged continued efforts towards improving household incomes and utilizing government programs for socioeconomic development. He emphasized the importance of cooperation among leaders to ensure equitable service delivery regardless of differences in race, religion, politics, or geographical location.
The event also saw the presence of NRM advisors from the ‘I support Dr. Chris Baryomunsi group’, including Kabarashura Tarasisio, Kanyonza Elias, Twinomuhwezi Gad, Musaani Caleb, Byereeta Joseph, and Nyerihiire Clever, highlighting the widespread support for Dr. Baryomunsi within the party ranks.
