The territorial police of Kabale are investigating circumstances surrounding the death of a 45 year Edson
Mpubaka a resident of Bushabira village, Kibuga sub-county in Kabale district by unknown.
It’s alleged that at an unknown time on the night of 02/09/2023, at Nyamitoma village, Kibuga sub-county Kabale district, with malice aforethought, unknown persons caused the death of Mpubaka Edson.
It’s further alleged that on 2/09/2023 at about 02:00 pm the deceased was seen fighting with one called Kahungu who was separated by the locals and later everybody went home.
That on 3/09/ 2023, at around 07:30 pm a man of unsound mind known as Kashaija resident of Nyamitoma village was heading to the center and came across the body of the deceased dumped near the house of one Tumusiime Peace.
Kashaija went and called the Chairperson LCIII who also called the Police for further management.
The scene of the crime was visited/examined by D/SP Mukama Hakim D/CID/O, and the team,
Postmortem done and no suspect has yet been arrested.
Community sensitization was conducted with local leaders.
